Thumbprint Cookies

WET INGREDIENTS

3 TBSP softened butter

3 TBSP maple syrup

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Jam

DRY INGREDIENTS

1 cup spelt flour

1/4 tsp salt

Powdered sugar- optional

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix wet ingredients [except jam]. Mix dry ingredients [except powdered sugar]. Combine. Roll in to balls. Indent with thumb. Fill with jam.

Bake @ 350. Optional- sprinkle with powdered sugar.
